Tiger Woods will be in the spotlight for sure. He has been playing some of his best golf lately and Augusta National suits his game. Tiger has four green jackets in his wardrobe, and by Sunday he may wear a fifth. This is a very special tournament for him because he hoisted his first major championship trophy here.

Rory McIlroy has some unfinished business in Augusta. In last year’s final round, the Northern Irishman went from being the leader by four shots to a tie for 15th, ten strokes behind the winner Charl Schwartzel. This time, Rory gets to the Masters with more experience, but also with a major championship victory under his belt after winning the 2011 U.S. Open.

Phil Mickelson wants another green jacket. He won the Masters in 2006 with a two-stroke victory margin. Lefty has already won this year, at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, and it was his impressive game on the green that gave him the title. Mickelson needs to bring that same A-game to Augusta to have a shot.

Hunter Mahan is the best-ranked U.S. player on the Official World Golf Ranking. He currently sits fourth, just behind Europeans Lee Westwood, McIlroy and Luke Donald. This is the fourth time the 29-year-old will play the Masters, and his best finish was last year, when he posted a tie for 10th.
